The final round of the 2nd 2025 Global Endurance Tour Season brought us to Circuit de la Sarthe in France for a 6hr race…
Following a successful showing at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps 2 weeks prior, the team decided to get together on the 7th of June in order to tackle the last round of the Global Endurance Tour during iRacing’s second season in 2025. After the team got together for 2 practice sessions throughout the week in the lead up to the race, the stage was set for Paul, Tim and Beth to take to the track.

It was decided that Beth would take the wheel for Qualifying, and she repaid that faith by qualifying 3rd in the GT3 class. “Qualifying is always difficult at Le Mans” Beth said to team media representatives, “You really only get time for 1 proper lap, which means you need to push the limits on cold tyres, which is never a match you want to have to deal with”.

As the race began, the team started to fall back from the leaders, with the team beliving it to be due to teams around them having faster race pace than their qualifying let on. As the race progressed into darkness and the time ticked down to the 4 hour mark, the car was handed off to Tim to complete his 2 hours in the car while the team was in P7.
“Le Mans is in my top ten tracks to race on and I knew I would be there or thereabouts with the car and track being at one with each other.” Tim told the team post race. “Putting the hours and race Sims in definitely payed off as a Trio we struggled with different things the biggest being the Porsche curves and how best to keep it on the road there consistently.”

“Taking the middle 2 hours of the event meant i got to see the transition from day to night this is when the race came alive and it became apparent cars ahead of us hadn’t done much if any of the night racing practice and we started to make our way forwards.”
Tim drove a phenomanal 2 stints, bringing the team into a pit cycle where we were alternating from P6 and P4 between the start and the end of the stint, breifly running as high as P2 at one point before handing the car over to Paul to complete the race, which at that point was on target to be our best team result.
